As the VP, Utility of the Future Transformation, for National Grid's New England business, Steve is responsible for leading the development of the roadmap for decarbonizing the company's gas and electric networks and driving progress against that roadmap. This involves identifying the key outcomes, initiatives, capabilities, and investments required to deliver on 'net zero' policy goals and meet future customer expectations. Steve has experience that spans clean energy policy, utility regulation, and strategy.

Steve is a graduate of Harvard College and holds a B.A. in Chemistry & Physics. Additionally, Steve was awarded a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University. Steve started his career 20 years ago in management consulting. He subsequently transitioned into a focus on the energy industry, working at a clean energy and climate policy think tank in Washington, DC, and a specialized utility regulatory consulting firm, Concentric Energy Advisors, before joining National Grid. During his nearly nine-year tenure at National Grid, he has held several positions covering clean energy policy, regulatory strategy, and business transformation, and he was Chief of Staff to National Grid's US President. Steve lives in Arlington, MA, with his wife and three children.
