Saeed is the Senior Manager of Consulting and Analytical Services group at S&C Electric Company's headquarter in Chicago. In this role he leads a team of engineers performing a variety of power system studies and researches. Saeed's background and expertise encompass various fields of power system analyses, including power system economics, renewable generation planning and interconnection studies, load flow and dynamic stability analysis, reactive compensation systems, transient and switching analyses, reliability studies, harmonic and power quality studies, and short-circuit studies. With over 10 years of experience in power engineering industry and research, Saeed has been involved in numerous large-scale projects in several countries. He holds a BSc. and Masters degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran, and a PhD in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
