Ann McCabe

Ann is an energy and environmental regulatory policy consultant. On June 1, 2017 she became interim executive director of The Climate Registry, a non-profit organization governed by U.S. states and Canadian provinces and territories which designs and operates voluntary and compliance GHG reporting programs globally. The Registry also assists organizations in measuring, verifying and reporting the carbon in their operations so they can manage and reduce it.

As a commissioner at the Illinois Commerce Commission from March 2012-January 2017, Ann focused on retail electric choice, the future utility/regulatory model, smart grid and advanced metering implementation, regional transmission, cyber security and nuclear issues.
