Matthew Lockridge has been Chief Strategy Officer of Field2Base since July 17, 2017. He has been involved with developing technology strategies and programs for the Federal Government and Fortune 500 companies for more than 15 years. In 1999, Mr. Lockridge worked on several top secret IT initiatives for the Undersecretary of Defense, including the development of a secure global conferencing system for The Pentagon. Upon project completion, Mr. Lockridge continued to work as an IT consultant with Booz Allen and Hamilton until relocating to South Carolina with Verizon Wireless. He spent the next 7 years at Verizon Wireless developing an emerging mobile data sales channel. During his tenure at Verizon, Mr. Lockridge's team was responsible for growing wireless data revenue at Verizon Wireless (in the south area alone). Mr. Lockridge has received numerous government and private sector service awards and has been the key note speaker at technology conferences throughout the Southeast. Mr. Lockridge received his Bachelor of Science - Business Administration from The Citadel in Charleston, SC and is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

He is also at work on analyses of solar and storage resources, blockchain energy use, and LNG markets. He holds a B.A. summa cum laude in Philosophy and Economics from Beloit College, an MA in Philosophy from Yale University, and an MPPM degree in Financing and Accounting from the Yale School of Management.
