Mr. Wemple is responsible for developing and implementing regulatory strategies for Con Edison Energy, Con Edison Development, and Con Edison Solutions. He leads a six member team providing regulatory coverage in NYISO, ISO-NE, ERCOT and PJM committees and working groups and state regulatory proceedings in the Mid Atlantic and Northeast with one member dedicated to regulatory coverage of RPS and renewable energy legislation.

Mr. Wemple has more than 25 years of energy industry experience and brings extensive knowledge of regulatory affairs, wholesale and retail markets, energy services, and demand-side management and generation planning. Previously, Mr. Wemple held positions as director of retail and regulatory affairs and geographic market manger responsible for regulatory affairs and electric retail pricing strategies. He also worked for Con Edison Company of New York, where he held various managerial positions in retail access, demand-side management, energy services, and generation planning.

Mr. Wemple is a graduate of Cornell University with a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He served as chairman of the NYISO's Business Issues Committee in 2002.
