Rembrandt is a renewable energy pioneer with valuable entrepreneurial experience as well as an impressive track record in the corporate environment. He was the founder of NEDPOWER (1993, wind energy sector), taking his first project to construction in India in 1998. He joined GE Energy in 2003 where, following leadership positions in London, Singapore and the US, he was appointed global leader of the Project Development team. Leading this team he managed a global portfolio of mostly wind and gasfired projects through the development cycle. He oversaw 10GW of co-developments achieving financial closure across Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. He was also Managing Director at GE Capital's Energy Financial Services group.
