Ms. Lara Bledin has over 10 years of experience working in the electric utility industry. She spent six years with Southern California Edison in transmission project management and distribution engineering, having worked on substation and transmission line projects, interconnection of distributed generation, load forecasting, and energy storage projects. Since joining Sargent & Lundy in 2015, she has focused on utility planning assignments involving microgrids, battery energy storage, renewable energy, transmission and distribution, and others. Ms. Bledin is the process owner for Sargent & Lundy's Microgrid Conceptual Design Process. Her experience ranges from project development, licensing, and the construction of transmission and distribution facilities to electric power consulting and due diligence reviews. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a certificate in project management from the University of California, Irvine.
